Well yeah, that's to be expected when healthcare has a paywall.

Asshole first is obvious. Assholes are great for pointing out pitfalls in new projects, and raise legitimate concerns. The bore is next. They'll approach the project with the same indifference as the average end user, and the asshole will lend them a voice for their grievances. The idiot is last. They'll be the workhorse to move the project along.

I wouldn't recommend it. I did this once (didn't see the cop). He just pulled up next to me at the next red light and shook his head in disapproval, but I fully expected to be pulled over. Tbf I'm white and was presenting female at the time, so I imagine it would have gone differently if I was any other demographic.

Trans people

That's absolutely true. I transitioned over a decade ago and have never had a problem until Republicans randomly decided that trans people were a target recently. A buddy of mine transitioned 35 years ago and he's in absolute pieces over the state of the country right now. He was harassed just yesterday while taking a walk, because he's out and proud in the neighborhood. I'm absolutely terrified to see how bad this will get.

One man's transphobia and horrible parenting is tearing this country to pieces. This is the worst possible timeline. I can't even begin to imagine what his daughter is feeling right now.

Agreed, and to add to this, I grew up in farmland and have never met a broke farmer. These folks are typically quite wealthy thanks to massive government subsidies. Huge modern home, brand new cars, plenty of toys like ATVs. They're not living the same life as the standard working class.

I'm not sure I agree with this, unless OP did something offensive. I'm back in the dating world for the first time in nearly a decade, and with every match that goes poorly either I explain "I'm sorry, I don't see this going anywhere further but I wish you the best." or they do the same for me. The only instance of ghosting was when a man tried to SA me a few months ago.

Jobs you're applying to, as well, should send a response to your application even if it's just an automated generic email.

I think the mods are doing just fine, and keeping it free and loose instead of bogged down with concrete legalese-esque rules makes for a good vibe. It seems like "don't be a dick" is pretty much the stance and I'm all for it.

Do you have a VPN installed? If so, try disabling it and make sure that the Browser Protection setting is off (sometimes this runs even when VPN is disabled)

Oh man, Basshunter was huge in the chronically-online gamer space in the 2000s. His other songs are pretty good too.

To put it in perspective, the fact that they're gaming on laptops and LCD monitors was an enviable flex when his songs released.

I have two servers, one Mac and one Windows. For the Mac I just map directly to the smb share, for the Windows it's a standard network share. My desktop runs Linux and connects to both with ease.
