  • I also recommend the Das Keyboard. Been using my Pro 4 for nearly a decade and it just keeps working, despite many spills. I type so hard and much that some of the keycaps crumbled earlier this year, so I got new keycaps for $10 and it just keeps chugging along.

  • 2021 Chevy Bolt. Traded in a 1999 beater for it during the gas pipeline crisis. It's a wonderful, simple, cheap car. I haven't had any issues with it - it just gets the job done. I charge it for free at work every week or two, so I don't even have to pay for fuel. I figure I'm gonna drive it til the bottom rusts through or the batteries die.

  • Thank you for pointing this out. When you shop small locally-owned businesses, the money is often directly reinjected into local economies. The money you spend at locally businesses puts a girl through ballet lessons instead of putting dollars towards a new yacht. And the ballet company is owned by your neighbor.

  • When in an argument, wait for the other person to stop talking then maintain eye contact and say nothing. They'll feel the need to fill the void and keep talking after a few seconds, but this move throws them off balance and helps calm them down. Also works great with angry customers at retail jobs.

Also, when you suspect someone is lying to you. After the silence, they'll often try to cover up the lie because they suspect you've figured them out.
