Okay, reasonable enough, I had read your response as "no solar, just homes and put the solar in rural".

How so? A) Less transmission lines to where it's needed and b) more qualified/trained staff centralized to the solar installs.

I'm not against rural solar by any stretch but I can't fathom being against urban solar? We need to solar all the things.

Tried disabling the mail/cal client and see if it still does it in barebones Vivaldi?

I recently had to disable mail on an instance in a Windows machine. As I had a few accounts on it to test functionality a few weeks ago, I had forgotten about it. It was holding at about 60% cpu the last couple of days and I couldn't figure it out until I searched the forums for this issue. Solved it for me and I'll be trying other email clients anyway.

Super handy when you're working in data centers.

Oh yeah, this was the solution later on. For like kid me? At the time I didn't know you could even replace the showerhead... :(

Growing up we had a walk in shower, the way it was setup there was no way to reach in and not get hit by cold water. Especially a short kid with short arms, you were getting a full blast cold water trying to go "out" of the shower. The tap was the push-pull type and very difficult to modulate so limiting to low pressure trickle was basically a game of russian roulette. The best I could do was hug the wall and let it only get whatever corner of my body I wanted to sacrifice to temporary hypothermia that morning.

Every fucking hotel shower in western Canada at least. Hate those taps.

I'm not seeing "Amazon" or the plethora of online shopping stores that have followed in its footprint of complete and utter shit. To this day, I can't understand how Amazon became so big with a user interface so fucking awful but goes to show it doesn't actually fucking matter.

I wouldn't say that. In my experience even domestic cars are on average more reliable. BUT when they do break, it's a fuck ton more expensive to repair anything. There is a genuine feeling of dread in newer-older vehicles because one part might require dismantling half the vehicle to get at, or that part is only available as part of a larger assembly.

Yup. That's exactly it. There a lot of people in the "no particular fandom" category that can determine a sales winner and loser.
