  • How so? A) Less transmission lines to where it's needed and b) more qualified/trained staff centralized to the solar installs.

I'm not against rural solar by any stretch but I can't fathom being against urban solar? We need to solar all the things.

  • Not to mention, most of these trucks are very standardized in their dimensions and parts already. This is probably the biggest thing that will hurt small vehicles is picking a subset of standardized dimensions that will fit multiple models.

  • Tried disabling the mail/cal client and see if it still does it in barebones Vivaldi?

I recently had to disable mail on an instance in a Windows machine. As I had a few accounts on it to test functionality a few weeks ago, I had forgotten about it. It was holding at about 60% cpu the last couple of days and I couldn't figure it out until I searched the forums for this issue. Solved it for me and I'll be trying other email clients anyway.

  • Growing up we had a walk in shower, the way it was setup there was no way to reach in and not get hit by cold water. Especially a short kid with short arms, you were getting a full blast cold water trying to go "out" of the shower. The tap was the push-pull type and very difficult to modulate so limiting to low pressure trickle was basically a game of russian roulette. The best I could do was hug the wall and let it only get whatever corner of my body I wanted to sacrifice to temporary hypothermia that morning.

  • I'm not seeing "Amazon" or the plethora of online shopping stores that have followed in its footprint of complete and utter shit. To this day, I can't understand how Amazon became so big with a user interface so fucking awful but goes to show it doesn't actually fucking matter.

  • "Mario is Missing" for the SNES.

I remember opening the Sears catalog and seeing what must be the sequel to Super Mario World. I shovelled driveways and busted open my piggy bank - it was a full price Nintendo game and I had to have it.

I started my subscription to Nintendo Power after that...

  • I wouldn't say that. In my experience even domestic cars are on average more reliable. BUT when they do break, it's a fuck ton more expensive to repair anything. There is a genuine feeling of dread in newer-older vehicles because one part might require dismantling half the vehicle to get at, or that part is only available as part of a larger assembly.
