  • I had this exact problem. Its why I stopped using Methylphenidate. What I did find helping was not drinking any coffee or caffeine. I also made sure I ate something shortly after taking it in the morning. This was with XR caps, not sure if it’s different with instant. I didn’t have these same issues with other meds though.

  • Bullshit. Almost all of the aid given to Ukraine from the US is in the form of non-repayable grants. Ukraine doesn't have “huge debts” to the US. Trump wants to change this.

  • Well said. I’ve had countless conversations about this as well. Either people are too ignorant to understand military aid or are arguing in bad faith. It’s kind of insane how many upvotes these comments get.

  • It seems like you don’t grasp the concept of military aid still. And now you are changing the subject. It’s ok to admit you don’t understand military aid and just say you used it the wrong context. Taiwan has a right to protect itself, full stop. It sounds like you are anti-American and anti-Taiwan, so I’ll end this conversation here.

  • I see these comments every time military aid is talked about. Military aid isn’t just sending money. It can include weapons, equipment, training, or other support to help a country defend itself or strengthen its military. Sometimes, the aid is in the form of funds, but often it’s specific resources like tanks, aircraft, or technical expertise. Believe it or not, it helps the US economy while also helping our allies protect themselves without risk to american lives. Taiwan has the right to stand up for itself, unless you are against that policy stance I’m not sure what else to say.

  • What Tina Peters did is clearly immoral. She tampered with voting equipment and spread lies about election fraud, which directly undermines trust in democracy. I don’t care if she thought she was doing the right thing. Breaking laws meant to protect elections is not just wrong, it’s dangerous.

  • Get a grip. It’s absolutely crazy to compare Tina Peters to MLK Jr., Rosa Parks, or Gandhi. These people fought against deep systemic injustice, risking their lives for civil rights and freedom. Peters’ actions, spreading lies tied to election denial and abuse of power, don’t come close to that level of sacrifice or historical importance. Trying to equate the two is a huge stretch and undermines the legacy of true leaders who changed the world for the better.

  • I get what you’re saying and agree, but patriotism doesn’t inherently lead to xenophobia. It can coexist with openness, respect for diversity, and global cooperation.

Patriotism is defined as love for one’s country, a sense of pride in its culture, values, and history, and a desire to contribute to its well-being. In its positive form, patriotism encourages civic responsibility, unity, and respect for a nation’s traditions without hostility toward others.

Of course in some cases it can lead to ultra-nationalism, but it doesn’t have to.

  • I just assumed she meant her adopted mother, Mrs. Bail Organa. Or did I miss something here?

Edit: nevermind, just looked it up and Breha died on Alderaan when the Death Star blew it up. Lame.

  • I appreciate your willingness to correct the record.

As for the aid to Israel, I agree that the nature of the assistance and how it's used is a critical issue. I completely agree with your points and now understand your usage of “blank check”.
