What, hasn't the simpsons been running since like late 80's early 90's?

Well it has to be something that's "time gated" for lack of a better term, when roger went they were "to early"

You could also just use a battery case, or plug in an existing battery pack you have. Magsafe things are nice to have but not a revolutionary idea.

Magsafe doesn't really change anything, they've literally just put magnets on the back of the phone. The most it's used for is accessories, put the phone on a stand, have a wallet you can take off your phone, or so that their wireless charger stays in place. They still only have 15w wireless charging.
