  • It's clear they meant to be arguing something

    Right...

if their argument was directed against me, they probably wouldn't have agreed with me.

    Keep going...

If they were arguing against Biden, they probably wouldn't have praised him.

    Almost there...

  • Healthcare - Biden limiting drug prices helps a ton of people. Also, trump pledged to get rid of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and replace it with nothing. So... not ruining everything is also good.

See that's the thing, Biden would be a better president than trump if he literally pledged to do nothing. Trump has pledged to make things worse, mostly for his own benefit.

That's your choice: a shit sandwich or... not eating a shit sandwich. Tough one, I know.

  • Why hasn't trump responded to this yet? It's like he's hiding somewhere. I'm seeing more and more Republicans refusing to endorse trump, or actively voting against him:

I just don't see how he can make it to the election. Eventually he's going to have to drop out so Republicans can nominate someone else.

  • Why hasn't trump commented on his former attorney's concerning legal issues? Why is he staying out of the spotlight?

If he doesn't address this with a heavily scrutinized press conference it will be a weight dragging him down. This plus all the other baggage trump has (and his mental issues) will cause voters to move away from him. It may be time for a different candidate to be nominated at the convention.

  • Trump needs to address this appropriately, and step down if that's not enough. I'm concerned about his ability to perform the duties of the presidency, considering his diminished capacity this year.

Lots of people are calling for it recently. He has no bump in polling since the debate and hasn't had a real press conference in a long time.

  • Yeah, he said exactly that in the speech last night. Didn't anyone watch it?

Someone asked him "What about your legacy?" He said he didn't care about his legacy, he cares about "finishing the job" and getting things done for the United States of America. That's exactly what you want to hear from a presidential candidate.

"Legacy" is something journalists care about because they don't do anything tangible. They just write articles about people who actually do things. Biden's focus on action actually made me like him more.

  • The media was seething because they can't just run another word flub every day. Biden turned their repeated questions about minor misstatements into a policy discussion.

They don't want to run the story "NATO meeting a success" because it doesn't get as many clicks as "Biden secretly nuts". They've become tabloids.

  • Saw this comment on Reddit:

Theres nothing new thats been going on in teh news lately, looking for something to grab views, and this is it. So this whole Biden dementia thing is going to get stretched out until the new flavor/news of the week comes out.

The media is upset that there's nothing unusual happening to report on. They need bad news because that grabs attention. Ukraine and Palestine are old news. If they could start a war for headlines, they would.

  • Media is seething rn. They wanted Biden to break down and start sobbing on stage. He basically told them they were stupid for running a major story about a minor flub this afternoon.

They are mad that Biden turned their accusations into a boring press conference about NATO and his accomplishments.

  • The guy asking the first question flubbed some words. And had his facts wrong about the UAW. Maybe he's crazy and shouldn't be a journalist?

I want to see a top story on this on every website: Reuters-guy-gate
