it the reason why you can post in any imaginable writing system from ancient sumerian complaints in cuneiform 𒂍𒀀 𒈾𒍢𒅕 to the goddamn seraphim o "серафими многоꙮ҄читїи҄" that was used exactly once in a single 15century manuscript.

    two keyboards with failing keys.
the usb i was planning to use for the ventoy free install died.
kde on my current setup keeps crashing.
    constant software issues at work.

did IBM curse me for daring to stray of the path of the hat?

anyway, using a directly flashed stick instead of ventoy resolved my issue.

  • apparently flashing the stick directly did the trick,
    thanks for the help

  • i used the offline installer images with ventoy ill try again with a stick i directly installed it on

  • didn' check that yesterday,
ill try again with an image i checked and without ventoy

  • i checked my manboards settings after the second attempt and secureboot was already disabled.

think of arch like "vintage car culture" with a touch of minimalism.
its restricting and breaks all the time,
but thats kinda the point because fixing it becomes a part of your lifestyle.
