  • Some Cybertruck owners say their fellow Cybertruckers are blowing things out of proportion,
and one said it’s a good idea to not “...drive it in the rain, or get it wet.”

Others expressed anger that Tesla’s options for protecting the steel panels cost thousands of dollars.

    😂😂😂 just incredible,
having a car that rusts in the rain clearly is just haters blowing things out of proportion.

and of course the solution only costs 5 grand.
pretty sure you could get another car that doesnt rust in the rain for less than that.

  • probably wont be the name for long anyway.

aparently F5 Networks. owns a trademark for nginx.

  • we are walking piles of hotfixes and technical debt

  • what does half stable mean?
    stable os with fresh applications?

if thats what you are looking for,
maybe debian with flatpacks for fresher softwares?

or if you also dont like flatpack, maybe
    debian with nix

  • they even straight up disable pasting until you reenable it.

and both browsers warned about identity theft in the error message when i tried it.

  • aparently even Sanders himself complained about the drop in quality since he sold it back in the 60s

  • i honestly havent noticed a diffrence since i switched to a flatpack heavy distro (normal fedora to silverblue)

  • im already very used to not owning ubisoft games

  • Guthib

    Jump
  • you can actuall stop it by pressing ctrl-z and running bg

  • Guthib

    Jump
  • the best part is the version with the flags -al

  • most people i know, that use ps,
complain about the controls not being the same / weird when they try gimp.

kinda similar, to what i hear about blender

so i think the main culprits are force of habit and muscle memory

  • idk about the england and dutch,
but the blue checkered flag is Bavaria.

Bavarians have a very awfull accent,
that is closer to austrian german than High German.

  • generally only military flametrowers use liquid fuels (like napalm)

most other flametrowers are gas (gaseus fuel not petrol) powered.
    essentially just big blowtorches

  • its a type of pipe lighter.

To light a pipe, you need to get the flame down in the bowl.
its kinda tricky to that with a normal lighter without burning your thumb.

so over the years specialized pipe lighters emerged, that help you reach into the bowl.

the implication in the ad is, that the most popular pipes these days are not for tobacco consumption.

  • $(date +"%Y") Is the Year of the Linux Desktop

  • id reccomend that you do not put yourself in a situation,
where you have to make the switch "cold turkey".

you can install linux as a dualboot setup,
    preferably on a second harddrive.

most distros automaticly add an entry to boot windows in the grub menu.

i spent years switching back and forth,
untill i started using linux by default.

  • you can even google unsecured webcams with querries like: inurl:/view.shtml

and thats just the easy way,
people are constantly portscanning all over the internet.

if you have any device that is publicly reachable,
people know it exists, and will try to hack it

  • kinda reminded me of,
when i signed up for a "driving safety training" course.

we had a particapant, with a brand new bmw,
that went from exited to salty as the course went on

    for example,
when we tested our cars traction control (breakin without steering while one side of the path was slippery)

his car was the only one, that didnt stay straight by itself.

  • i dont quite think that that is what they meant here.

the article was talking about productivity a lot,
and the current ai hype is centered arround generative ai.

i think what they where talking about here,
is using ai to speed up stuff like moddeding and terrain generation.

stuff similar to the second half of this presentation ( starting arround 3:30)
