My man, I know how computers work, I meant that the game looks so fucking bland, that it doesn't even deserve to be given the "Woops, your rig is too weak" treatment, because there is simply nothing interesting to look at, that would give it the right to do so.
The only one in a similar price range that comes to mind is ovhcloud.com, they are a france based company, still not ideal though, as they might require ID.
If money is the biggest factor (which I guess it is), best thing for you to do, might be to move your storage box off of the german servers and onto the finnish servers.
They are a german server hosting company, you know, the country with some of the strictest copyright laws? For example, a kid at an old school of mine was once fined 800€ for accidentally sharing a song on a school hosted messaging board.
If you do anything with pirated torrenting on their servers, they will know, and will come after your ass. And even sharing pirated content can get you in incredibly hot water, they might not have found out yet, but when they do, good luck.
Guys, we're probs gonna get brigated by the Hexbear users soon, checked their voting thread for the re-federation, and a lot have been expressing their intent to "discuss" with us. Luckily I'm on Feddit, which is already defederated, so none of the logged in bears can interact with me
That's fair I suppose, to me, "bro" is an inherently gender neutral term, though "girls" is gender neutral to me in the same vein.
Adding on the 'gender neutral' is kinda redundant, and I can see why it would be annoying, actually, it's annoying me too now, because if the writer simply used "bros" and not "bros (gender neutral)", the expression's gender (gender/non-gendered) would not have been moved to gendered, and most people would understand it to be a gender neutral expression.
Your argument doesn't really work, because 'bro' isn't a word used to describe sex partners, in the same vein, you would never say "I've slept with the boys", but you could use the sentence "I was hanging out with the boys".
In the end the decision is up to lemmy.nz, a random user from lemm.ee should in my opinion not have a vote in such a discussion.
The same goes for me, feddit.de has already defederated from hexbear, so I can't even see any of their comments on this thread.
A big problem with Hexbear is that downvoting is disabled on their side, resulting in a lot more comments due to users being unable to disagree with something through the voting system. Should downvotes become enabled, Hexbear would become a lot more bearable to outside instances.
Just because your attention span and memory are lacking doesn't mean everyone else's is.
This movie is a good way to show what half of humanity is going through in their day-to-day life, would you really call that a "non-pressing issue"?
I understand if the story being used to deliver the message isn't your cup of tea, but simply disregarding what some would call an important and half of humanity affecting issue, is quite rude.
Please remember there is more to do in the world than to just concentrate on one issue at a time, and this movie is simply one small move for women to sit in a theater and to point out "Yes, I know that experience, and I hate it as well".
An interesting way to look at it, is that this movie is similar to what superhero movies are to men, with a lot of ironic "womensplaining" memes popping up on several different social medias. If you really don't like it, just think of it as the first Avengers movie but for women. Maybe that helps understand it a little better.
