Fetterman just needs to go the fuck away for his sake and the sake of others. It's obvious he isn't all there mentally and fucking hates being there so he should make room for someone who is mentally capable and wants to be there.

The sad thing is I don't think it will be the USA putting them to trial. It'll be other nations that are picking through the rubble or individual governments after the united states balkanizes. Maybe I'm too pessimistic about things but I just don't see a way we get out of this whole.

I don't expect sympathy from other countries because I feel like america broadly deserves this as punishment for its apathy and I'm saying this as someone who voted Harris. Also most people in the south voted for this. You wanna go cry for those people then be my guest. Im done having sympathy for backwards idiots who hate everyone and everything around them and are actively trying to set us back as a society. As for the small percentage of people who live there who didnt vote for this I feel bad for them and hope they can get out. Other than that they can rot in their disaster ridden meth towns because thats what they voted for.

Ofc. I'm not expecting people to know everything about what's going on here. Everything these next 4 (?) years is gonna be a uphill battle here. Rn we're literally seeing policy that could lead to the balkanization of the usa. The ability to file a fair injunction against Trump is officially gone here. Red states will get preference from the courts while blue states will fight constant battles to get anything through. I am interested in repairing our national image but there very well may not be a nation to repair the image of in coming years. People do care it's just that they don't care enough to do what actually needs to be done.

I agree but the issue is her actually winning. I feel like america broadly is still too racist and too sexist to elect her. Obviously I would love to fix both simultaneously but I'm trying to be realistic with the info we have now. Maybe something changes between now and then and I would be happy to be wrong but rn that's kinda where things stand.

I mean this in the nicest way possible. I don't really care about fixing our international reputation atm. I'm worried about stopping the country from falling apart first. We can fix all the international stuff after.

I love AOC but I don't think she'll win. She needs to focus on Schumer instead. Rn the DNC is in a death spiral and is in desperate need of new party leadership. She's the one for that. Newsom will likely be the 2028 candidate. Which yeah it's gonna suck to have to bite our tongue and back him but if it gets us out of a maga dictatorship then I'll gladly do it.

Trust me most of us want him gone too. These protests are just the start. Sooner or later you guys are gonna get a good show as shit pops off.

To add on to that theres things you can do for yourself too. Self care is also very important. Getting in shape, eating better, and being mentally sound are all critical parts of being ready when shit does pop off. You're gonna be of no use if you aren't physically and mentally capable. Take a basic and combat first aid class as well. Learn how to use a tourniquet and learn CPR. I don't know how necessary this knowledge will be but it could also be a good idea to familiarize yourself with your 2A rights and some basic firearms. There's some great youtube channels out there if you can't be hands on. I also recommend learning about steel and ceramic ballistic plates and plate carriers. Not that you'll need them but the knowledge will be good to have in case things do go that way. Most important of all though is to be kind to yourself and others (unless that other person is a fascist).
