People are still being held there, with no due process for over 20 years.

1 person being held with no due process is as bad as 30000.

If they wanted to vote for a right wing reactionary they would have voted for Trump, not the one pandering to his base.

You're talking like it hasn't always been a concentration camp. If liberals bothered to hold their own people accountable and have an actual red line that couldn't be crossed, someone like Trump could have never made it into office.

Democrats refusing to hold their politicians accountable for the last 50 years resulted in someone like Trump being elected. They accepted small levels of evil that grew exponentially larger with every election, and it's grown so large that someone like Trump was able to make it on the ballot. People like Trump and the country's downward spiral into fascism is a direct action of liberal voters.

It's hard to say which voters you're talking about. Arrogant hubris Democrat voters gave us Trump. And Republicans that voted for him gave us Trump.

Because it is performative, they are incapable of connecting the dots on multiple issues because they never stay connected long enough to get the larger picture. They focus on small issues like this and ignore the core of this problems, either willingly or ignorantly.
