Passwords are insecure

It's a really pain in the rear to configure for anyone who doesn't have a dedicated IT or an MSP. You have to get these DKIM and DMARC records from your exchange provider and then you have to configure them on your DNS host. If your DNS host isn't modifiable you have to send requests to their support to get those records put in place and then they want to verify your records from your provider as well as a security measure. I've had clients that took us a week because of all the song and dance of DKIM and DMARC all because I couldn't go in and add the records myself.
Fuck you LOGIX you garbage company from the stone age. Let me manage my clients DNS records. š¤
DKIM is the standard for verification right now. This isn't an anti-competition play. I manage DKIM records for my clients all the time. Yahoo, SB global, and At&t enforced DKIM requirements a few months back and it's been a headache but it has made a huge difference in spam emails.
For anyone who doesn't know what DKIM is, it's a method of an email provider getting a sort of green flag from the host domain name. So if you have an email address whatever@mybusiness.com and your email provider is Microsoft 365 and your domain provider is goDaddy, Microsoft says to goDaddy, "hey I'm sending this email, can you verify that I have permission to send from the domain my business.com?" And go daddy checks for DKIM records from Microsoft and sees it and says "yes sir, this is approved." Then M365 sends the email, and if the recipient requires DKIM to receive the email at whomever@yahoo.com, Yahoo looks at the domain and asks, "hey goDaddy, it says you host this, is this email legit?" And goDaddy says "yep it's all legit, give it to the recipient."
This effectively eliminates messages sent from a domain without DKIM records as well as spoofed emails because those spoofed emails never checked in when sending.
I appreciate the skepticism but this is a security play, not a business one.
We already do that. Looking at a bottle of tea I drank earlier today and it says 16FL OZ (473mL) both units are labeled on most things.
I will be protecting and distributing managed democracy across the galaxy.
To defend managed democracy?
I don't know why but I feel the need to remind you that here...
THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN AMERICA IS GUNS.
more than disease, more than SIDS, more than car accidents and suicide. Gun violence. There is no fucking excuse for it. American children are dying to fucking bullets. It's not a dumb statement. The US government refuses time and time again to demand change from the fire arm industry and it fails to pass meaningful legislation protecting those children from death by firearms every god damned year. Those children's blood is on the hands of the killers, true, but it is also on the hands of every single person failing to do what they were elected to fucking do, protect their represented populations.

Not at all what I said. Just that it is not a priority.
Maybe a mistake NASA made 25 years ago is less influential on the ongoing crises plaguing the US like gun violence, civil and political unrest, and countless other issues are also on the list of things that need to change. Seems silly to argue about how civilians in a country weigh things when those civilians don't have water because their government gave up on fixing the infrastructure to provide that water in several major cities. You want national change from a country that's trying to find out if the potential next president will follow through with promises of being a dictator? Cool bro.
Every vote splits a vote for every other candidate. That's how first past the post - winner takes all elections work. I would wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment if our voting system didn't encourage our ugly two party system. I don't particularly like Joe Biden as a candidate for the next 4 years either. But I understand that the system doesn't work for me, meaning I have to work within the system. If I want my vote to produce any meaningful change, I have to make sure my vote goes to the candidate that I believe has the best chance of winning while providing the least amount of harm to the country and the highest chance of productive change of that system. That happens to be Biden this year which sucks. But it's not as dangerous as allowing Trump to win who has clarified twice now that he intends on authoritarian action and being a dictator day one.
No but it counts a vote away from another contender without hurting trump. This is the effect of FPTP voting. Essentially, if you have a vote, and you cast your vote for someone who cannot win, your vote is less useful than someone not voting at all. Voting against one candidate only hurts that candidate if the vote you cast won the election. Otherwise it was part of a split vote that helped them win.
To add to that, US customary is a collection of measurement systems with different purposes. Most of the jokes about the US measurements are about the "silly" units like furlongs and acres and whatnot but those are either not at all part of the US customary system or are used to measure different things and are not converted between. Like, there is no reason to measure distance in inches when miles do fine. Anything using precision use a different system altogether or a variation on us customary that is often favored over metric for precision. Not that US customary is better than any other system, just it's not really as bad as people make it out to be. It's perfectly serviceable and changing away from it is not really the top of the priority list for this country.
Furlongs is a different measuring system all together. Same with miles and inches. We don't convert between those measurements because it's not necessary.
Money is always cheap for capitalists. Even the hardest of times is only hard for people without money.
My local waffle house is very often that empty. Day or night. I actually find it interesting that they can afford to operate with how few customers they have at any given time.
I agree, the side effects are better than the disease but man. It can be rough.
It's also a miserable drug to take. Better than being dead but man... It makes your mouth taste like you're sucking on pennies for days on end and the chills and aches and the shits.. by God the shits....
I would hardly say Bill Maher is at the top of society. He may have a lot of money but he doesn't much more say on how the country is run than any other American. He doesn't have lobbying money. Also anyone getting mopped the floor with by Family Guy funny man isn't exactly someone people look to for political views and discussion.
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. The US doesn't have a 1 party system. If you meant 2 party system, that's not really true of any specific arrangement of political party spectrums across the world. No system covers most countries. Wikipedia lists 15 countries, many among the most powerful and influential globally that are effectively 2 party systems.
There are so many reasons why the working class lack representation in America and I don't think a single one of those reasons is the 2 party system. In fact, on paper, the US has no limit on how many political parties there can be. The reason we have a 2 party system has more to do with our voting system and the spoiler effect that happens over time in all First-Past-The-Post voting systems.
I think the reason the working class lack representation has so much more to do with the money in our politics. The politicians are more concerned with continuing their political careers and earning more money for themselves than they are with helping the working and poor classes.
But don't use lastpass, they are the most popular, and with the largest breach history. In fact, if you are capable of the admittedly high bar of self hosting, use bit warden instead.
