  • I have not used any 2fa app before. I've read that if we lose the codes then we are locked out. So, people take offline backup of these codes. But, I've seen these apps refresh these codes every 30 seconds. So, how does this backup work then?

  • Rookie numbers.

  • Didn't know that, but I can't seem to find it on fdroid.

    1. Mixplorer Silver - Feature-packed File Manager
    2. Hermit - Lightweight PWA browser
    3. Instaddr - creates disposable Email addresses
    4. Readera - Feature-packed book reader
    5. Moon+ Reader - Feature-packed book reader
    6. Balance - for Meditation. They have been offering a one year free trial for some time now. It has been really helpful for me. Their programs are highly customised to achieve your goals. Give it a try.
    7. KWGT & KWLP - if you're into home screen customisation, then these are must haves.
    8. 1DM - Feature-packed Browser and Download Manager (Direct downloads & torrents)
    9. Niagara Launcher - Lightweight, minimalist, with solid, fluid animations. One-hand friendly. Free version has ZERO ADS. I've been using the free version for a couple of years now. I'm hooked to it. I don't think I can go back to a normal App Drawer drawer style launcher now. They offer one time purchase as well for the pro version. I felt no need for the pro features, though i'd definitely buy the pro to support the dev.

Some of these have decent free alternatives. Mixplorer is free to use officially through XDA. KWGT & KWLP have free ad supported versions available through their official website. Regardless, these have been installed on all my phones for years now.

  • What's cinestream?

  • I was introduced to reddit via the Relay for Reddit app by an MKBHD video. For me relay was reddit. Couple of years later I found Reddit has a website and an official app. I took a look. ALL MY FAITH WAS LOST IN UI DESIGN & MY EYES WERE BURNING.

  • I was actually highlighting all the popular options for ad free YouTube on Android.

  • revanced is awesome. The patches are increasing in number. The one thing that confused me is what patches/options I can change later in the YouTube revanced settings.

So, maybe they could categorise the patches as:

    1. Those that can be applied only while patching & cannot be changed in the settings.
    2. Those that can be changed in the YouTube revanced settings.
  • Link seems dead.

  • They want to keep competing with and copying Apple/iphones, yet they keep forgetting about what makes Android phones so appealing to the people who select these phones over iphones.

  • Thanks for the info! I've been lurking on tildes for the last two days through the Three Cheers app. Things seen very minimal and interesting. The app is very solid too.

I've also read their rules. They're pretty straight forward.

Can I get an invite from you to sign up? Other method seems to be to ask the site admins for an invite.

  • As per my understanding, this jacket.py plugin will integrate into the search engine is qbittorrent to search for torrents.

Can you explain what docker is & how is it different than this Jacket plugin?

  • Thanks for the info. I had never heard of this site before. I will keep the 'Three Cheers for Tildes' app installed on my phone and check it out.

Why do they need an invite though? And where do I get one?
