  • I like this new version. I won't be buying it since my FP3 is still working great, but I'll recommend people around me needing a new phone to look into it.

  • I don't use any mainstream social media, but I don't see how that is hardcore? I simply socialize in real life when I need it. And I feel like people mainly really use social media to entertain themselves.

  • I'm replaying Sea Of Stars. It's an incredible game, and since it got a new free DLC, I thought it would be a great time to do a new playthrough.

  • Sea of Stars is a masterpiece.

  • Yes and the French administration has access to a modified version of Matrix called Tchap.

  • France put in a place the Hadopi in 2010 (now part of the Arcom) specifically to target people torrenting copyrighted stuff.

  • If they are really testing things like that, it's quite worrying that they did it on the production server...

  • That is really disappointing... I understand the dev wanting to move on to something else after 10 years, but it would have been nice to not do it so abruptly.

Currently, I'm not aware of any good alternative to Mull...

  • Thanks to your comment (and this post), I discovered that Rawb now has a peertube instance. I used to follow him when he was actively doing pokémon nuzlocks and also URealms.

  • I really enjoy using Zen. It's pretty, has plenty of neat features that don't require extensions, and the development is very active. The software is not yet mature, so it frequently changes behaviours and how things look, so new users need to be aware of that.

I did try Floorp a few months ago, but I didn't like it as much. It felt like using regular Firefox with a few tweaks.

  • Yeah. I use KeepassXC on my computers and KeepassDX on my phone. All synced with syncthing and it works great.

  • I still play Old School RuneScape and Guild Wars 2, and they are both very active.

However, I've not tried a new MMORPG in ages. I don't even really know if any relatively new ones could be interesting to try out.

  • I've been using it for about a week, both at work and at home, and I must say that it is great. It is nearly everything that I wanted from a browser. Especially since it is based on Firefox.

I've been so happy with it, that I even donated to the project.

  • Personally, I tried it a wee bit, but the game kept stressing me so much, which I really hate. It's a shame because I keep hearing that it's an incredible game... Maybe if I try it at another time I'll have a different experience, I hope.

  • You clearly do not know how things work in France. We have tons of things fiscally in place that make it so that in practice, you have to earn much more than that to truly pay taxes.

I don't have time currenty to enumerate all of that, but I'll come back to you later if I don't forget.

  • Most young people do not pay income taxes currently, only the wealthy ones. So this reduction would only apply to already rich people.

  • Meh, if your house is built correctly, it is not needed. And you also get used to it.

I just use a fan during the night, which does the job without having to use so much electricity.

  • I've never had AC at home, and that's also the case for most people I know. I live in the south of France.
