I lived in Israel for 11 years. The government has been slowly but surely progressing the goals of the religious right. To keep it simple they believe the Messiah will come and march on Jerusalem to retake the temple mount and erect the Jewish temple where it once stood. Some modern interpretations I heard in yeshivah simply talk about taking back temple mount and demolishing the Muslim temple to erect the Jewish Temple.

There are a lot very rich and influential Jews who have been using their money and influence to further the ultimate goal of rebuilding the temple. Check out the Jewish National Fund.

I picked up 2 ancient kindles on FB marketplace for $25 and they work great as long as airplane mode stays on. They throw a fit trying to connect to Amazon if you get on WiFi.

Ah yes. This is where tax dollars should be going. There is NOTHING pressing going on in Florida that would out rank lab grown meat in level of importance.

One things missing with most of the those: profits. I'd be more worried about bad actors stealing the DNA data and using it for all those. The businesses will keep within regulations to keep the profits rolling in without getting shutdown.

Oh come one, we all knew this right? I spit in the tube knowing they'd use it for drugs, sale or some other research shit. They also feel like they made this pretty clear throughoit the process that they'd use your spittle for science.

The guys was committed for two weeks and had threatened to shoot up a national guard base. They had the information to act on and take away his guns and they didn't because they didn't need to. This is even more fucked because it was probably avoidable.

Thats all fine and dandy but the conflict keeps both Israeli and Palestinian leadership in power. Bibi is the iron fisted wartime leader who reignites conflict whenever his support is slipping. Hamas is barely worse than he is. The PLO leadership is much the same. There won't be any peace until the ones negotiating care more about peace than power.

I grew up on a jewish settlement with goons just like these. Racism taught to them by religion and nationalism. Not too far off from a Nazi youth upbringing the way we talked about eradicating Palestinians.

Lol over half the court was bought and put in place by right wing billionaires to push their agenda. They've spent millions to put them in power and like heck they are going to let Congress remove them. The US government is not for the people it's for the billionaire oligarchs.
