  • I was skeptical of this claim so I went and had a look. Here's some of the posts I saw:

"Polar Ice Sheets are thicker than ever despite predictions that the Arctic and Antarctic would be ‘Ice free’"

"Leftist Parents “Flee” Florida Because Of New Laws Blocking Child Mutilation"

"It’s strange how you never see pedophiles, im sorry, drag queens reading to old people instead of kids"

So yeah some pretty insane takes there

  • I would like to see a breakdown of useage by region. For example I found stats that said India's share of linux users rose from 9% in May to 15% in July. That's quite a sharp increase in only 2 months! With a population of over 1 billion people, I'm betting this rise would have a significant increase in global stats, so I wonder what is behind it..

  • try making a conscious effort to get out of the house more and do more social stuff. There's websites like meetup where you can meet folks with similar interests. Making real connections with other people and/or finding satisfaction in pursuing your interests will fill some of the hole which your fapping is trying to cover over. Also you won't have as much time to yourself so it won't be possible!

  • Just to chime in, I first tried arch because some youtuber I followed recommended it, but after 5 years I would say I've stayed with it for the AUR and the community. The AUR has almost every app I've ever needed, and whenever I have a problem there's always a solution on one forum or another, to the point where I can usually just copy and paste it into the terminal and it's solved!

  • Get rekt Ubunoobs

  • I can't remember the details now, but I tried running Ubuntu on my desktop first but I had trouble with some software not running. Then I tried Arch, and it just worked 🤷‍♂️

5 years now and it's still running fine. Any problems I have are fixed with a quick google, and maybe a copy and a paste lol

  • Wood is mostly cellulose and lignin, which holds no nutritional value to us humans. Another comment said that termites have certain enzymes which digest it, but it's actually the bacteria in their guts which break down the woody fibres so they can turn it into glucose. So, theoretically, maybe we could isolate those bacteria and somehow incorporate them into our guts too? I mean it probably wouldn't work, but you never know until you try right?
