Idono what the correct solution is but paper straws apparently contain a lot of PFas and are really not good for anyone either...

Glass straws can break... And might contain PFas

Metal straws are also a safety hazard apparently... But seem to be the best choice...

Bamboo straws also contain PFas...

I only tip at restaurants and when I get my hair cut. All of this new tipping stuff, I have always assumed was just a generic update to enable it basically everywhere... I've always hit no tip...
