  • I'd say install linux first as it will make things easier as python is built in and ts just a better OS all around.

    As for getting started you can use youtube Or some free books such as

    After a few videos and a book you will get the hang of it and get more confident in your abilities. Then do a project of your own

    There are other languages but python will allow you to make progress fast and you can branch out to a different language later of if you like.

  • Only time I watch something is to see how to get past a part or get a tricky achievement. I'd be curious if its a generational thing. I started with the Commodore64 and would rather play the games.

  • Work wise no impact so far but I use it to write any bullshit corpo speak emails , tidy up CVs and for things like game cheats etc. Its banned now in my job and we have to use copilot but I dont cause it will send everything back to the company so if I need it I just use chatgpt it on my personal one and email it to my work one.
