That's only gonna happen if you can get leftists to vote in local elections and primaries instead of getting pissed at moderates for picking the wrong candidate and opting out of the system. Conservatives are pretty awful, but every election plays out the same...all those complaining and claiming never-Trump status will all fall in line before November. Yeah, it makes a lot of them look spineless, but you can't argue that they haven't pulled their party in the direction they wanted.

Kudos to the person (or, ironically, AI model) who chose that picture, though. Pepto Popsicle is the best euphemism for LLMs as AI that I can imagine.

They're actually reporting a much higher increase in anti-LGBTQ activities (141%) that antisemitism (30%), so I'm not convinced that's the whole story here.

I agree that some of their 'antisemitism' was tied to support for the Palestinian people...but I also think it's true white supremacist ideology (including christofascism) is on the rise even after accounting for their anti-palestinian bias.

What's childish is not acknowledging the 2 facts that

1. Trump will make the genocide worse. Abstaining from a UN security council vote is a pretty flaccid response, but it's the most any US President has done since since Israel's inception.
2. The US President has responsibilities and influence beyond whatever Israel is doing. Biden losing increases the chance of a 2nd genocide in Ukraine and potentially an expanding war in Europe. That's not even mentioning how much worse things are gonna get here for anyone who isn't a cishet white man.

Your thinking is no different than all the women who kept voting on the single issue of overturning Roe and are now shocked they have to carry dead fetuses to term or be charged with a crime.

I'll premise this list of (far more than one) progressive thing Biden has done with something I'd like you to consider. It seems from your tone that you think progressives can only count something as a win if it hurts or angers the center-left. That's not the case. Now...the list:

Inflation Reduction Act, that a MINIMUM of $386B in green energy subsidies, tax credits and incentives and directs that money in a way that encourages domestic production.

$1 trillion Infrastructure package

Withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan

Lower prescription drug prices, specifically giving government the ability to negotiate those prices and capping others.

Millions in student debt relief

Thousands of simple drug possession pardons

$1 trillion in covid relief directly to families

Lower inflation than most of the western world

Doubled the child tax credit

Expanded gun background checks

Largest number of progressive judicial appointments in loving memory

CHIPS act

Repealed DOMA and ensured states must recommend same-sex marriages

ECRA takes away one avenue Trump used in his attempted overthrow of the government.

Rolled back racist and xenophobic travel restrictions

There are 2 types of apologies. One where the person takes responsibility and apologizes for the offending action and one where the person takes no responsibility and instead apologizes for how people reacted to the offending action.

The latter puts the onus on the victim, making it less of an apology and more of an additional offending action.

Something to consider.
