I'm not waiting to switch. Well other than waiting for the next time I refresh my hardware. I try to only switch my OS when i do new hardware. I mentioned it because I like their style and ways of doing things and I'd enjoy having them in a broader OS sense.

I just want to take tbis moment to thank Target for their thoughtful removal of DEI policies. You see I've wanted to move for a really long time and my wife always had a requirement that anywhere we moved to would have a target nearby. It complicated the process. But now, I don't have to adhere to that requirement anymore, because we don't buy anything from them anymore. It's great. So thanks Target for showing my wife you were a lousy bunch of scum sucking greedy pigs. I've known for years, but it's nice to have proof.

That's not moving goalposts. Your original comment was stating the system was sound because the politician was convicted. The person you are replying to was refuting that based on other failures of the french court system.

If you had instead posited "the french justice system is sound in this regard" referencing political conviction solely, then you might have ground for them ignoring the argument.
