  • Look at the webcomic copy of one punch man. ONE can't be considered a Rembrandt, but he tells compelling stories in a world populated by interesting characters. OTOH, if your goal is to get as good as the manga edition of OPM, I've been reading comics for a while, and he's a genuine talent. Most talents believe they're still a work in progress. You'll pick it up quickly, but thereafter will sort of plateau. Maybe 2-5 years from personal experience...? Good luck!

Edit: oh, and rob liefeld was never ever considered 'good', but that didn't stop him from developing some names you've no doubt heard of.

  • So what happens when the judiciary is scared of another body? Who enforces the rules? It seems like the public is hoping the judiciary will do something, the judiciary is waiting for Congress to do something, and congress is doing congress things: pontificating and posturing in the name of theatre. No one is actually doing anything.

  • I loved it. From what I read, most of the hate for the game stem from Joel's death, Abby's arms, or the fact that Ellie went from baby girl to rampaging lesbian. Basically people who can't handle deviations from their perfect world and appreciate the game, story and characters for what they are. You covered that very well in your comment.

  • It's not just the magas - they are a lost cause. It's also the people who can't be buggered to educate themselves about the system of government, who believe the president can wave his hand and make a war disappear and change the military industrial complex that is the US. Who whine and hold the entire country ransom to their virtue signalling. Who think their feelings are more important than the collective well being.
