I stumbled upon this civil engineer on YouTube for a different road planning game and enjoyed way more than I expected. He also has a set for Cities Skylines.
I know it’s not a meme, per se, but I died while watching this. (I may be back later as a Romulan though playing my own child from an alternate universe).
You might want to reread that (or check the actual linked research), it doesn’t say “retain” it says “remember”. It’s referring to recall specifically in children to establish when those memories start to fade or become inaccurate. The studies linked were regarding interviews with those who were still children. For example, the Cleveland & Reese study was interviewing 5½ year olds. The Tustin et al paper provides a better timeline comparison at various age stages.
You don’t really start to retain memories until after 5 as your brain basically rewires itself at that point. So if you “remember” it (from its debut), you’re probably closer to 40.
All that means is there’s a time limit on your democracy where you get to a point where you can’t pass any new laws because you’re too busy re-passing the old ones.
That’s why I specifically said in the US. You have to be careful, though, some DO schools are easier to get into than some MD schools but there are also DO schools that are harder to get into than some MD schools (MD schools in the Caribbean for example) so unless you are being hyper vigilant about which school your GP went to, you’re still just relying on the fact that they all passed the same or equivalent boards anyway.
You can also search out a GP that is a DO Instead of an MD in the US.
They still learn osteopathic manipulation, which is a broader form of manipulation not limited to the spine that helps with stretching-type exercises. But they are certified (often with the same board exams even) and licensed on par with MDs. Many clinics have DOs among their providers.
Having worked for online customer support it was always fun to get the people who were embarrassed to read you their email address to look up their account.
German children always laugh at my jokes, regardless to how bad they are. No matter how kind the kids in your country are, German kids are kinder.
