Agreed! I love the slow but steady pace of development. I'm already having a great experience here - give it a couple years even and it'll be magnificent.

I hope she can do something with the rumored amazon breakup. I was disappointed in the Microsoft Activision approval though ... so who knows.

I constantly drop my phone, the kid knocks it off the dinner table, it gets rained on, etc etc etc... I have an iphone 12 pro (coming up on three years old) with no screen protector, just a regular case (albeit a really good case: Peak Design) and it's still going strong to this day with zero malfunctions or visible wear even. I think I do need to replace the case. But anyway ... I don't think any kind of foldable / flippable phone could survive that kind of life.

No, because this sets an extremely bad precedent. The simpler answer is just not give bailouts like this. A properly functioning anti-trust department wouldn't let these private companies get so big they are deemed "too vital to fail" ... but here we are.

I do not care about the screen tech one bit, I think LCD is fine for handheld if the price is low, but what I DO care about is using somewhat modern cpu/gpu so games don't constantly lag even trying to hit 30fps. That's by far my biggest complaint about the Switch 1. So if they can fix that then I'm on board! If not, I'll probably just honestly pirate everything and play it on my computer where it won't run like dog ass.

With the general Marvel burnout as high as it is, I'll be amazed if this does well and we see a season 3.

I personally used to be the biggest marvel fan there was, and now you couldn't pay me money to watch these terrible shows and movies.

It does I think, not as much as it used to but every now and then I find good articles on there I wouldn't have found elsewhere. For me, it's worth a quick glance.

For tech I have Ars, Phoronix, TomsHardware, Slashdot. I feel that covers a lot and keeps me up to date.

For personal - I have never used whatsapp and never will. All my friends either use Signal or SMS. North America here.

For work - I am forced to use whatsapp and hate it, but would not be able to do my job without it, so I'm stuck.
