  • kinda boring if thats your perfect. To each their own i guees, but i hope you keep trying new ones as time goes by, theres so many varieties they arent all good for the same uses

Some good producers, Queens Majesty, Hot Ones, Heartbeat

Hot ones barbacoa is fantastic, Queens majest Ginger and scotch bonnet is so flavourful, secret Aardvark habenaro is amazing on pizza.

  • Pros if properly managed, takes away profits for criminals and helps prevent grow ops causing a lot of problems in communities.

Con Managed poorly fucks over consumers and propogates the criminals by creating a bigger market for them

Pro new tax revenue to pay for services

  • That's a new take for me, I've heard it was an aspect of Reagan's war on drugs, it was an obstacle in the Vietnam war, it was amn attack against the black and Jamaican community, was big pharma wanting to clear the way for over the counter pain killers, and that the tobacco companies weren't allowed to grow it so they made sure no one else would.

Thanks for adding to the list lol

  • I thought art was supposed to make you feel uncomfortable sometimes if done right. That's what i was taught/learned was what made art valuable because it forces/compells an emotional response.

In the case of Loss it may have been a jarring departure in style but it was also the dudes lived experience and he chose to externalize it, which is generally supposed to be healthy and a way to heal.

But dudes weren't/aren't ever rewarded for it if they don't also please others while doing it, only get beaten down and made to feel shame.

Stunning lack of empathy to care more about the fictional world created by the actual real human being who created it

  • It was literally in the article explaining that this was presented as the victim impact statement.

Have you learned nothing about modern "news" ? Dont be part of the problem of spreading misinformation, be diligent and responsible. And ita okay to make mistakes, own them and move forward. Its not easy to get your information correct everytime, theres no shame in that, only in ignoring your responsibility to self correct voluntarily when you find out

Peace be upon you, we need to work together, because even though I'm calling out the inaccuracy in your comment, i do believe using this technology for this purpose is heinous

Edit: from the NPR article as its not paywalled

But the use of AI for a victim impact statement appears novel, according to Maura Grossman, a professor at the University of Waterloo who has studied the applications of AI in criminal and civil cases. She added, that she did not see any major legal or ethical issues in Pelkey's case.

"Because this is in front of a judge, not a jury, and because the video wasn't submitted as evidence per se, its impact is more limited," she told NPR via email.

  • Actually thanks, now trust you mention it i should not have used safe. I was not meaning danger, just that i might have damaged the battery life or at least put it at risk at the least. Just assumed that it came optimised to be as ideal as valve usually goes a bit overboard on their hardware from what i remember reading
