Jfc what a defeatist ass attitude, I'm not buying a switch 2, are you?
Bringing attention to issues is a good thing, just because the result doesn't pan out like you hoped or expected or whatever the fuck this response indicates your position is, doesn't mean it had no effect at all.
Coming to Lemmy I've massively improved my knowledge of Linux and have moved away from centralized services in general and moved toward self hosting much more then I would have otherwise without the influence of users here. Everyone isn't doing this so clearly it's just a circle jerk right?
Homie the web platform I've been tasked with helping keep running/update is ASP Web forms and the lack of asynchronous updating is pretty annoying to work with in a ticketing software.
Oh, lol definitely didn't mean to imply that haha, was just saying all the apps I've tried (I literally only use mobile to access Lemmy) have the ability to add and swap between accounts on different instances :)
Idk, I like it more then StS personally, I'm at like 400 hours on AtO lol
It's quite different from StS imo, and while I'm not a huge fan of the paradox model of dlcs (knew it was coming when they got bought by paradox tho) overall I think they've done a good job with keeping it updated and adding nifty new cards/locations/status effects etc
Having used the slack work flow builder compared to Powerautomate, it's really no contest you can do so much more with PA if you're in the ms ecosystem
I like the way you worded that a lot
