Why would you organise this on company headquarters without the consent of the company?

If you tell your employers that you hate the way they operate, what do you think is going to happen?

You have other choices, yes, but it's always going to be either the Democrat or the Republican that wins.

Like here in the UK, smaller parties get media coverage more so than in the US, but it's still always going to be either Labour or the Conservatives that are forming a government, so they get the most coverage.

I think I blocked a bot once, if that counts.

But I don't block people on any sites unless they start spamming me in DMs or whatever. I don't see the point of blocking people otherwise.

I'm so glad we don't get campaign spam like this in the UK.

I remember people going crazy about it when Apple introduced it, and then I saw a video of it in action and was like, "is that it?".

I've never really liked any other launchers I've tried, but this one does look nice.

For those who have used it, how does it improve on the standard Pixel launcher?

Is this that "capture what you're doing" app?

I don't believe people would use that for nefarious means. No way!

Same here. I use YouTube a lot so it's nice to have no ads, and the inclusion of YouTube Music is great and I've switched from Spotify because of it.

Because e-ink displays are a lot better to read books on than a phone screen.

It's an expensive gimmick.

Like 3D TVs.

I switched from Samsung to Pixel and I'm on my second Pixel phone now and they're great. So much better OS and smoother than OneUI ever was.

Most political issues are a waste of time even trying to talk about on social media, because people on all sides love their echo chambers, and any reasonable argument from a different viewpoint is met with consternation, rather than a healthy debate.

The problem with the death penalty is largely down to potential miscarriages of justice.

What if they get the wrong person and some innocent is put to death? Do you really want the state to have that sort of power over its citizens?

Yes. Most AAA stuff now is just copy and paste because games cost so much to make and so they want a guaranteed return on their investment.

But I think consumers are getting tired of that now, as Ubisoft's declining sales seem to be demonstrating.

I've used Feedly for years and it makes keeping with various types of news so much easier.

Porting it to another platform, I understand.

But I can't understand the clamour for yet another remaster, in a generation full of them.
