  • Yeah I experienced that when I tried to invite some of the people in a subreddit to one I created in lemmy. I even invited the admins to lemmy to admin as well.

    I’m really surprised how unwilling people are to change even if it’s in their best interest.

    But still, keep at it my man. They will come.

  • This is the way. A major selling point of lemmy, well to me, is that it is a lot less toxic than Reddit. Best to advertise that fact than emulate the toxicity of Reddit and turn off those on the fence of migrating.
