  • So? It has way more content and features than BotW. Saying it's BotW 1.5 frames it like DLC. It has entirely different mechanics though and you play it extremely differently.

  • Didn't they have animations associated with the or am I crazy?

  • I fly the original pride progress flag on my house and I really like it. If it is shocking to you that not everyone agrees with what makes a flag look good look no further than the US's state flags. They're a mess. They're all over the place. People have different tastes. I think the "state seal on blue background" is bad but clearly enough people in those places don't dislike it enough to change it.

  • Nuclear bombs are not like conventional bombs. It is very difficult to make them explode. They aren't volatile. The way the ones dropped on Japan detonated was something like two halves of a core hit each other super super hard and were propelled by a bunch of shot gun shells. Compare that to things like black powder where it's just fire.

I don't think fires or bombs on nuclear sites are good, nor do I necessarily believe there were nuclear weapons, but I don't think they'd detonate like what you're thinking. Like how a fire at a fireworks factory causes a horrible chain reaction where everything blows up. Nothing like that.

  • Don't think for a second that I'm approving of Andrew Tate types lol. I'm just saying if there wasn't incentive then they wouldn't be able to profit off of it. Maybe we're using different definitions of incentive. Or maybe you mean to actually make a true working long term fix for men as opposed to just content that monetizes off of it.

  • It's also funny when people argue it's not actually white because color picker says it's light blue. Firstly, color motherfucking temperature.

It's because it seems like about half of people's eyes and brains correct it one way and the other half the other way, leading to extremely heated discussions about "how can you not see it my way." This isn't like other optical illusions like that silhouette of a spinning ballerina where you can easily flip it around in your mind. I've only ever seen this as white and gold once and it took someone putting it upside down and very slowly zooming out from a very specific area of the dress.

So that's why people were so torn about it.

  • What annoys me about takes like this is that it seems to be appealing to some sort of council of gays who are in charge of the flags. Nobody is. There's no "official" flag. If you don't like the progress flag or the intersex version of it then just don't fly them or design your own that you do like. Nobody is stopping you. A ton of the pride flags in use today are just designed by random Tumblr users in the mid '10s. Which is fine, not hating on them, just making sure you know there is nothing stopping you from making one you like or flying the ones you prefer.

  • Is there even an incentive for solving men's problems?

Uh, yes? Obviously. If there wasn't then "manosphere" content would never be monetized.

  • No one was really asking "what color is the dress", they were asking what colors are on the photo.

This is not my recollection of this at all. Everyone knows what physical colors are on the screen. If so people who see the image as white and gold wouldn't have been shocked/angry to learn the dress is actually blue and black.

  • To me the background looks more like the left.

  • Yeah, it's like blue and an ugly desaturated goldenrod. Because it's sort of yellowish instead of black I think that's why it tricks people's brains.

  • You're not expressing an unpopular opinion, you're just wishing people practiced the beliefs they proclaim to have.

  • Why does it shock you that people get upset when their groups get criticized? Obviously people are biased towards their own groups they're a part of. It doesn't mean they don't hold this opinion it just means they don't think your criticism is fair which could possibly be because they're biased.

  • I'm not a superman expert, but my understanding is that he only did that in one movie. If so, it is correct to say that it is canonically one of his powers, but that doesn't mean all versions of him have that power. If people talk about time traveling Superman they're talking about the one that can do that.

  • My puny human mind cannot comprehend what happened because I'm not from Krypton.

  • That's just something he can do. Earth's yellow sun gives him super powers, one of which is the ability to turn time backwards by reversing the spin of the Earth's rotation!

  • Anytime people say things like high IQ my opinion drops.

  • No no, that is actually canonically one of Superman's powers.

  • I'm positive if we took a closer look at your life we'd find many such things. Nobody is perfect.
