  • It's imaginary numbers. Full stop. No debate about it. The idea of them is so wild that they were literally named imaginary numbers to demonstrate how silly they were, and yet they can be used to describe real things in nature.

  • I thought it was clear I was mocking the people who had a problem with that aspect.

  • I'm not actually losing sleep over the penny lol

  • The idea that people use quantum computers against meshtastic nodes is pretty funny to me. I think meshtastic attracts a certain kind of person who is security minded and maybe even prepper adjacent (like ham radio tends to). That leads to some odd things like worrying about nation states attacking their nodes.

To be clear, I'm not saying better security isn't worth it, nor am I saying it wouldn't ever happen, but the idea that folks are hiding things that important on meshtastic is a little silly to me. I think their biggest threat is other hobbyists. Not nation states.

  • DO NOT BUY ONE THAT SITS IN YOUR ROOM. The ones that sit in the window are better because the heat is already outside instead of having to go through a tube.

  • How do you style it under your chin? I recently started doing it differently and got compliments. I'd done it before but forgot how lol. If it stops right at your jaw bone instead of going down your neck it tends to look cleaner.

But overall based on what I'm seeing it looks nice. I'm biased though because I like beards.

  • Another meme I enjoyed was that the DM made up that the hither thither staff was magic just so they could cross the bridge and then the party proceeds to break a poorly thought out, unintentionally over powered item.

  • I have a plush of him! I love it!

  • B- b- but Owlbears aren't a beast! A- and she wild shapes too many times in too short of a time period!

  • Absolutely not. I fucking loved this movie. It pivots between things a few times and they're all interesting. It's got humor too. It really captures what a d&d campaign feels like.

  • I believe they meant in case you didn't research it yourself or someone else didn't answer.

  • Hell yeah, when people offer me interest free loans I take it.

One time I misunderstood something as an interest free loans when it wasn't so I paid it off entirely in the first bill. Sadly, I had to pay $0.01 in interest. How will I ever recover?

  • Yeah, I agree. If a sadistic person wants to see reactions naturally they'll continue to harass the people that give it to them.

  • I believe some people react to bullying in a specific way that excites bullies. It's not like they say "hey, who's got BPD," it's just that people with BPD tend to get the reactions they seek. Don't mistake this as saying the bullies aren't doing wrong or ableist. It's still awful.

  • A trans woman interested only in men is heterosexual. A trans man interested only in women is heterosexual.

  • It's pretty disgusting to look at someone who died by suicide after facing a harassment campaign and then suggest "maybe it wasn't the harassment, maybe it was the BPD."

  • I took "more complicated than it seems" to mean they complaints weren't something as simplistic as "she's treating foxes poorly", not as a "both sides have truth" thing.

  • Why do you think I'm advocating for getting rid of CSS and not being silly?
