It's a big abstract to understand, are you trying to say that there are Linux enthusiasts that protest GUIs being made simple and intuitive, and that if they succeed, would-be Linux users will go back to Windows, which is more intuitive?
Maybe for KDE, but just introduce new users to GNOME, that's perfectly intuitive and even looks great!
Active communities for niche topics, like His Dark Materials, or Would You Rather, and the poll feature, which I used extensively. Yes, I know you can link to external platforms, but integrating it into the post was much nicer.
The only one I really miss is an NFC payments app, but a local LLM for Android that's FOSS would be cool too - PocketPal is free, but not open source or on F-Droid.
Also LibreOffice for desktop is great, but on mobile there aren't any easy to use ones in the same way Google Docs is, I've tried LibreOffice for Android and Collabora
