It use to be open source. When they launched V5 this year, they decided to take down V4 and make the project closed source. You can still find forked repos of V4 on github that can be used freely.

Were they just disabling Wayland instead of handling it properly? Is that what the code was doing?

I dunno, I told people I used Brave search and got down voted too. Lol

For games, have you tried Lutris and Bottles? These tools make it an absolute breeze to setup the games outside of Steam.

Brave is my go to for everything except image searching, for that I use DuckDuckGo.

Yes, and that's where the issues lie. It will never get better because there is no competition to force Google to improve and they know that. Therefore, free reign.

Bro, I'll literally be having a conversation with someone about a topic, and all of the sudden Google starts recommending me products related to the discussion afterwards. Smart phones and smart speakers without a doubt listen in on our conversations. There's the evidence.

Yeah, GMail literally pisses me off for that exact reason.

Download the ProtonMail apk from a trusted place such as APKMirror, and then use Revanced Manager to change the package name. Install the patched app and profit! You can do this over and over again.
