  • It would take 1.33 million bobs to equal the same cost that shell takes in. Each bob has a family of roughly 4 including bob, feeding 5.33 million people. The kids in the family are able to pay attention in school bc they are well fed and bob is able to hunt for a better job since he doesn't have two jobs to make sure his family doesn't starve.

Shell is definitely worth the expense, plus Exxon, and even non oil companies like spaceX/Tesla subsidies that are rarely generating value for the taxpayers who funded it.

  • Let's be 100% clear, all of these cars with "smart" features are collecting your data and selling it. Insurance companies are also buying this information and using it to raise premiums if they determine you a "bad driver." Also this could reveal info such as where you live if anyone is determined enought depending on the info if stores (such as geolocation data).

Basically I'm saying wrap your car in tinfoil

  • This reminds me of the time where someone in Germany consented to being killed and canalized. Like it's obviously bad bc murder, but like, he also wanted it so like??? Like maybe the prostitute should have said no bc sex with a minor is wrong bc they can't consent, but at the same time nobody would be mad at the kid for wanting this.
