This is just one example and an extreme one at that. I'm not even talking about those people or those scenarios. I'm talking about the people that make unnecessary credit card purchases when they cannot afford it. It's financial responsibility. There are people making six figures that are in debt.
The Glock has 3 safeties that prevent it from firing unintentionally. They are extremely reliable but they do not have a locking safety. A locking safety is great when the gun is being handled by someone that shouldn't but this should never be the case. The #1 safety on a gun is the owner. No amount of mechanism on a gun can override the owner. A gun is a tool. I am all for more gun control because there is a gun problem but there is also a people problem and we can't just blame everything on the guns.
I was just thinking, how likely is it that these trucks could be highjacked and the contents stolen with no driver. I would think disabling the truck wouldn't be too difficult. No people on board so no collateral damage. Sure there will be cameras and sensors to call the police or whatever but an organized team in the middle of the night in a rural area. What would the police response time be? Just a though.
I assume this would have been caught sooner if the USPS would actually update things to the modern age. The postal service is so inefficient. Why do I frequently have packages travel to my state, then back out of my state and then back again?
I've never bought anything specifically because it was made in the USA because US made does not equal good quality. When I used to work retail and people would ask me if something was American made it was because they assumed it was better quality and they were racist. I do find it ridiculous that a company can do this and still be allowed to operate. William Sonoma should be forced out of business for even having the audacity to do this as far as I'm concerned.
I saw him live at Defcon without knowing who he was. I really liked his talk. Defcon itself was shit though.
