Some people just don't want pictures of their kids all on the internet. It could be seen as borderline paranoia by some people but I think everyone has the right to the level of privacy that they want.
These kinds of things are inevitable unfortunately. AI is just a tool and it just really depends on how it's used. Just like a gun. I think the biggest issue here is that AI was adopted so quickly. It's been used by tons of companies that actually don't understand what it is and does so it's the wild west right now without any regulations. I'm not entirely sure what kind of regulations you can even put on AI if any.
I feel like most of these computers are underpowered and worthless to most people outside of a web browsing machine. Which is fine I guess if you don't have a computer at all. But when some of us are rocking six or seven computers in our house, do we need anymore?
All body cam footage needs to be monitored by a third party. Police departments shouldn't have the option of withholding body cam footage. It should be a made available public and made available immediately after the incident.
I don't know how other people see it but the way I see it is if a company makes as much money as Verizon does then there is no excuse for this to happen. They have more than enough money to prevent this from happening tenfold but instead of investing money into the company CEOs get paid. With that being said, I believe that if there are any issues in a company, the CEO should be a 100% responsible. If they are going to get paid more money than anyone else than they should be doing more work than anyone else and if bad things are happening below them. That means they're not doing their due diligence.
I've received a T Deck and I've got it configured but I guess there is no other meshtastic devices around so I can't do much of the moment but I have a wiz block on the way so then I can communicate between the two.
I mean, you doesn't?
