I worked at a movie theater and credit cards could only be to purchase tickets and not concessions so that may have had something to do with it

I remember when I started my first job back in 2003 it was extremely rare to have someone pay with a credit card.

I was just looking at it. I'll have to try it out. Starting out, I feel it's too expensive but I'll try it and see if my opinion changes.

You're right. It's not that difficult of a concept and luckily Linux works just like that. I will admit that Linux wasn't always user friendly but it's made leaps and bounds in that department. A bit less than a year ago, I decided one day to wipe my SSD completely and install Linux and I've been using it ever since. I'm doing everything I was doing for. Obviously this is going to depend on your specific needs but for me it's been just fine.

I find it interesting how you're putting the blame on the customer and not the employer. You have no problem calling someone a shitty person for not tipping but you're okay with the practice of a business paying $2.13 an hour to their employees. It should never be the customer's responsibility to make sure that the employees of a restaurant are paid enough. Your attitude shows how brainwashed people are into defending these restaurants by putting the blame on customers.

It just goes to show that the TSA is just security theater.

I'm not really a big fan of this rhetoric. People should be able to go to a restaurant and eat without being expected to pay more than what their food costs. They shouldn't be shamed for not wanting to tip. This becomes an issue of personal morality which is why I just don't eat out, but I don't think it's anyone else's business except for the person spending the money since it is their money after all. It's not a customer's responsibility to make up the pay of a business's employee. PERIOD. Basically what I'm saying is I don't go places that expect me to tip but I 100% support people's decisions to go to restaurants and not tip because that is their right.

While I don't necessarily hate the idea, I prefer businesses took stronger stances against blacklisting troublesome customers. If all businesses in town communicated and banned people that were problematic then these people would have no place to go. Obviously this will never happen.

When I built my mid-range PC about 4 years ago, my specifically made sure it had connections for USB C.

They make PCI Express expansion cards with four USBC ports on them.
