  • Probably so understaffed to cut costs that her leaving would leave the prisoners unsupervised. Mammon rejoices.

  • “I could be killed today” job?

Pizza delivery has a higher fatality rate than being a cop.

  • "Not that hard" if you are at all good at souls-likes. I am not, so it's impossible.

  • It's only souls-like for the duration of the quest - but you're locked into the quest and have to complete it before you can use your frames again.

  • Total braindead slaughter, until you start New War. Then it's souls-like gameplay that you can't back out of. The only way I can play again is if I get someone to play on my account and beat those bosses for me.

  • I played Siralim Ultimate on my deck while my newborn was sleeping on my lap pillow. It is absolutely great for just mindless numbers go up gameplay. It's also fantastic if you want to spend hours theorycrafting and tinkering to get the perfect team for you.

Animator for lyfe. My Animatus goes first, punches one thing, and corpse explosions start rolling.

  • I read the title wrong, and now I'm picturing an angle grinder simulator that uses the motion controls on the deck.

  • I've found that used to be more true than it is lately. I think they're making an effort now.

  • Then use the article version linked at the bottom of the post?

  • Good for them.

  • If it weren't for reader mode, a lot of news sites would be unusable.

  • And lets give the dot menu a slight delay so it looks neat.

  • If you want ULTRA budget, I've used this cheap ass keyboard daily for 4 years now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CLYNW78/

I've beat the crap out of it (literally, nodejs be frustrating af sometimes), but it's still good as new. Some of the switches I've swapped out for Silent Black since my newborn was sleeping next to me at the time, but the original switches all work fine. It's got all the RGB bells and whistles, but I leave it on white.

  • The version on my S5 is a quarter the size of the version on my XCover. Both give the same directions. The app ballooned to 4x the size for ads and features I have literally never used on the phone like street view and "explore".

The version on my near decade old phone is also snappier and uses less data because it isn't background loading a bunch of ads for me to tune out.

  • Sometimes it's as simple as something like "firefox doesn't support import maps", but now they do (in 108+) but nobody has the time or inclination to go back and validate that the site now works in firefox.

  • The logic is that they don't count ignition costs because they only have to be paid once. So it's producing more than it consumes, and would eventually start netting a surplus.

  • Not all parents have the same last name as their children.

  • What's extra stupid about these, is most of the time just using a user agent switcher to make the site think you're on chrome or opera makes it work just fine.

  • All 3 are connected. If you have Humble at minimum and lower one of the other 2, the humble slider increases along with the one you didn't slide. Keeping humble at minimum while fine tuning the other 2 is really fiddly.

I set up a monthly donation to charity:water when IGN first added the sliders, before they lowered the humble minimum. It used to be 50%. So now a charity gets a bit more than I was donating through humble, and I spend roughly the same amount buying games elsewhere. I get a bit fewer games, but I play all the ones I buy. /shrug
