I don't think so, but I can't tell. I don't think OP is the author of the book being mentioned in this article which confuses me as to why the post title is what it is.

They are still good for alternative builds of Android such as GrapheneOS. Ideally I wouldn't support Google at all.

I think the idea is that it is at least similar in feature set. The only part that PeerTube doesn't have is that it doesn't have the number of users and revenue for scalability. I'm just saying that if you had a Youtube like website it doesn't need to compete with Youtube to be viable.

I don't think you actually need to compete against Youtube to be a viable alternative. It doesn't seem like it matters that Peertube has 0.001% of the userbase as Youtube because the goal isn't to make money. If I want to host a video to share with people I can put it on Peertube right now and give people a link. I'd call that a viable alternative.

Bananas, potatoes, corn, oats, bread and rice are all pretty cheap. When I'm trying to not spend any money I'm fine with a bowl of oatmeal with some sliced bananas in it.

Your link doesn't lead to anything, but if you are trying to suggest the supreme arbitrarily decided Bush won the presidency then that is factually incorrect. There was a court case about Florida's ballots in particular that happened to be enough to sway the outcome of the presidential election.

I'm not doing any such thing. Everyone has just had some weird misunderstanding. The topic of the thread is about putting a positive spin on the term and I am agreeing to that as it is something I personally deal with. I find that the term "disorder" has an unfair negative connotation and could possibly be called something else. Preferably with a more positive connotation that doesn't imply there is something wrong being born this way. If that isn't possible then people should at least understand the medical definition of what a disorder is to help remove the negative connotation.

The response has been disturbing to say the least. Considering how ridiculous some people have been I have to assume negative intent of trolling and ableism.

The supreme court doesn't decide the president of the unite states so probably nothing would happen. It would be very strange of them to make such an irrelevant declaration though and people would lose faith in the sanity of the courts.

I find it really fascinating how different peoples minds can work. I've heard the internal monologue aspect come up a lot when discussing reading in general. There is no instruction manual when learning how to think as a baby so I suppose it isn't surprising that there are a lot of variations.

How rural are we talking about? Miles and miles of farmland between every home? Some sort of personal vehicle would be fine in my opinion when the density of the population is this low. But you could still conceivably have a single train going through the middle with lots of stops. Then you only have to bike or walk a short distance and take a train of some kind the rest of the way.

I have to assume you are trolling at this point. Please go away if you are going to be an asshole. You are completely fabricating nonsense on your own which makes me feel like you are just making fun of people with conditions. This is directly against the rules.

The other day I watched someone try to dump their trash into a trash can and they just completely missed and got it all over the floor. They just left it there and walked away. I don't think I could even force myself to do something like this. It seems inhuman. 😑
