  • Very black mirror like. I can't imagine they have any legal basis for using their exact likeness for anything though.

  • They just happened to be first and then the others were written later. I have the other books as well, but not as a set.

  • I believe they are called "Spectra".

  • I got it from Ebay. I can't seem to find an official source of it. It seems to be published by "Spectra".

  • I believe it is called a Burmese cat.

  • A single picture is circumstantial. I'm more talking about mass collections of information for some kind of data analysis.

  • Digital privacy. It should be illegal to track and store data on people without their consent.

  • Kickstarter is basically used like pre-orders for stuff like this.

  • This is perfect, but regardless I'd rather celebrities or whomever don't come to Lemmy.

  • If it is more ad than news I'd say this an ad site that happens to have some news.

  • I agree if we are talking about being this zoomed in. However, at standard viewing distances the difference becomes negligible. As well as on small retro devices with 3-4 inch screens.

  • Personally I'd say Android because that implies it is running on a phone with a GPS tracker. Even its proper operation feels unsafe to me with constantly sending location data and other data to major corporations.

  • Las Vegas thought it would be cool to build a sphere the size of a skyscraper and turn the outer shell of it into a screen to play 24/7.

  • I sometimes think about how over the years every single cell in your body is eventually replaced and how that means the past you that those memories are about is literally a different person.

  • Very customizable. I do wish you could simply highlight some text and click the quote button, but this is fine. It's weird that you need a blank quote link in order to connect two lines of quotes.

I would like to know what template would people prefer.

  • I think comic books as well as comic strips in newspapers used to do the same thing. Old printing press technology had you do a separate pass through a machine for each color layer so the more colors the more time and money.

  • I put my phone in my right pocket and my wallet in my left pocket. I almost never take my wallet out of my pocket so it gets relegated to the less convenient pocket.

  • We would have to define nonsense. I'm not implying people shouldn't be silly. I just don't want spam and bots.

  • They look pretty cool. Looking up more images of them they don't even get that big. Even an adult looks like a little dragon.

  • I guess it is starting to make sense why nobody told me about it. 😅
