When I was finished making "squee!" noises, I took my phone around to show each member of my household so they could also make "squee!" noises.

There are some great suggestions here - I'm also adding to my reading list!

I almost exclusively read sci-fi, and my favourite author is Peter F. Hamilton. He has written some mind-bendingly good space opera, much of it spanning multiple novels.

His best work IMHO is a one-shot, standalone novel called Fallen Dragon. It's got rampant uber-captialism, space marines, geurilla warfare on colony worlds, and aliens. And a very satisfying conclusion that I didn't see coming.

Alita: Battle Angel. I've heard there is a sequel planned, but it's been a few years since the first movie. James Cameron is still involved as a producer, but I guess his blue-skinned money machine has kept him busy lately.

Based on your other comments in this thread, it's mighty bold of you to be using the word 'logic'. Why do you insist on putting words in people's mouths - I'm definitely not advocating for vigilante justice, or 'guilty until proven innocent'. I just want to reduce the protections offered to people who rape children. I can't imagine why anyine would be against that, like you clearly are. You're a bad-faith troll, or a child rapist yourself.

There everything immoral and unethical in lobbying for legislation that protects abusers or shields them from consequences. Churches should stay the fuck out of lawmaking.
