For me it is still holding on, barely, as a messaging app. I have a few friends and groups that just refuse to message on other things and that's keeping me around. I'm tired of evangelizing better options.

Would we ever be able to use a material like this to reflect a significant enough portion of the light falling on Earth to reduce the total heat imparted by sunlight in a meaningful way? Could we use this as defacto ice caps to perhaps reduce global temperatures in any real way?

Knowing how hard Apple locks down their hardware, I'm sure each RAM module has some sort of signature that disallows this sort of thing.

Unfortunately it is entirely possible for there to be no good guys at all. Take a step back and realize that you can choose not to take a side in every issue.

I may be wrong, but I think it has something to do with whether or not you had any custom filters enabled when youtube started cracking down on ad blockers. I also haven't seen a popup yet, but I assumed it was because I'm too lazy to go beyond the vanilla UBO install.

I highly recommend you attempt to run your games on a Linux box, as the experience has improved vastly. I also keep a Windows install around for the odd game that doesn't work in Linux (basically just a couple competitive shooters that I enjoy), but the number of times I need to boot into my Windows partition are diminishing day by day. Definitely did not mean to be a zealot about it, but going through the effort outlined above just so you can get Windows updates from a company that clearly doesn't care if they trash your machine forcing your upgrade seems foolish to me.

I have the exact same use case for my PC and have no issues gaming on Linux for the vast majority of games. The caveat, however, is that anti-cheat can be problematic, so if you exclusively play games with anti-cheat that could be a problem for you. The only titles I have issues with are competitive shooters.

I would like to point out that this is exactly the same difficulty of just installing linux, without freeing you from microserfdom.

FWIW, I only needed to install one package to be able to read the drive that my Windows install is located on/a shared drive between my two installs. It has been very easy to access the Windows partition from my linux install, but I have not needed to access my linux partition from the Windows install yet, so can't speak to the ease of doing this.

I just recently started rewatching some of the older episodes and I realized that "Be RIght Back" was inadvertently an LLM episode. Having a computer absorb the online presence of a loved one to allow you to talk with them after they've passed is honestly something that seems within reach for these models.

Kind of hard to be intimidating while getting one's ass kicked.
