Bitwarden+Firefox+Android. That combo doesn't support passkey creation.

I very specifically don't want my security tied to my device. Trying to migrate to new phones, and keeping things synced between a phone, desktop, and laptop is why I long ago moved to a password manager. Now, especially in the phone space, getting passkeys to function fully with a password manager ranges from "pain in the ass" to "not actually possible".

Passkeys are a great idea, but everyone involved seems like they want the process to be as much of a pain in the dick as possible. So until the industry pulls it's collective head out of its collective ass (not going to hold my breath on that one), it'll be passwords+2FA for me.

Funny thing about International Law. It only ever seems to apply when when someone has the will and the power to enforce it. Who has the power to enforce it if the US is the guilty party?

Wouldn't that be a non-issue? The radiation is going to be spreading out in a cone, not a focused laser beam. It should dissipate down to a level that a spaceships normal radiation shielding would already need to be able to handle pretty quickly.

Never thought of that. In my use case, Transmission is running in a container on my server, so it only ever has one connection, and VPN and traffic management happens on my router.

Maybe it's just a generational difference, but when I was a teenager, who I thought was cool was usually just band members of my favourite bands. Since social media wasn't a thing, there was nothing they were trying to sell us other than CDs, t-shirts, and concert tickets. Even then, there was usually a mental separation between the person and the art, so when the person turned out to be a trash bag, it had very little influence on fans.
