The combo of F-16 plus AWACS plus radar guided AMRAAM’s could prove a deadly counter to Russias continued use of glide bombs. The AMRAAMs have a longer range than those glide bombs, so the Russian aircraft that are launching them could be targeted.
I heard a report on the radio that a federal law was passed a while ago making it illegal to transfer prisoners from Gitmo to prisons within the US. These plea deals would have likeky meant the prisoners would live the rest of their lives in Gitmo, which they basically are anyway.
A number of years ago while helping to build a theater set I was introduced to two self-professed “lesbians with power tools”. I still chuckle when I think about them introducing themselves that way.
Vance has, by implication, claimed George Washington, and at least one other President should never have been allowed to vote, much less held the office. Talk about weird…
I think it depends greatly on how the bomb was planted. Suppose, for example, the building was undergoing some renovations and the bomb was hidden inside a wall that had been legitimately opened up as part of the renovations. The debris would show the bomb was in the wall, and they could probably easily pinpoint when during the renovations that wall was worked on.
He’ll likely spend the rest of his life at Guantanamo now as a result of this plea. There’s apparently a law on the books now that makes it illegal to transfer Guantanamo prisoners to US prisons.
Bought my first one probably 20+ years ago at this point.
Bought my second one probably 10+ years ago when traveling abroad and it was more reliable and cheaper to have offline maps of the countries I was going to.
We like to travel to places that often have spotty cellular coverage, if at all.
Hell, I’d be happy with the manufacturers ensuring buggy ECU software is kept properly up-to-date. Long story short I spent months dealing with dying batteries in a pre-owned Honda CR/V that I bought from a dealer. After multiple dealer visits, jumpstarts from AAA, etc. I finally found references to two recall notices on my own that described my symptoms perfectly. The only problem was that my cars VIN wasn’t in the list of those affected by the recalls.
I took printouts of the recall notices to the dealer, and they agreed it sounded like issue I was having. They updated the ECU software and I never had battery issues any more as long as I had that car.
What’s that shark got against New England?
