  • I've heard of a couple of these. I'll check them out!

  • My parents bought this portable power bank and it cones in very handy during these storms (also in Vancouver area). It we can charge devices, plug in a lamp, or even a portable induction cooktop.

    That said, during a power outage I'll mostly play board games, listen to music, play my guitar, or read.

  • Dzr is a great accountless player for deezer with a CLI version and GUI version that runs in Visual Studio Code

  • It still could be very privacy invasive, but since you opt-in (not opt-out) to its features, I wouldn't consider it as invasive as microsoft's.

  • Empathy is something that can be learned like any ability, it isn't always a binary you have it or you don't.

  • Tinkercad is just combining basic shapes, so there's basically no learning curve.
