You can edit from the OpenStreetMap website, zoom in on an area, click Edit, then it has a nice helpful tutorial. It's very beginner friendly and easy to edit. There are also many other applications for a variety of platforms listed here https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Editors

I'm using rdx. It scrapes old.reddit.com for the results, so it doesn't need the api.

I'm there for certain communities that aren't active here. I still don't use the official client though, it's horrible

It's probably less about the legal consquences of people's actions, and more about the maintaining the rules and guidelines of communities / instances. Sure, it's visible if you explicitly go looking for it, but no one's going to be browsing Lemmy exclusively through the modlogs.

Also there's far less trolls on help posts and people looking for a disagreement or a joke.

When people just keep saying "and then," when explaining something in a presentation. It's the kind of run on sentence that can go on forever.

I think that my core stance of "as long as you're not harming anyone else doing it whatever someone does in their free time is fine with me. There's times when I do question why someone would want to do something, but as is my core principle, In fine with it.
