Amd did that back in the day. All the chips were the same but locked out. You could scrape and use a pencil to draw in a jumper and make your chip the flagship one.

If they put the premium shit in the car and software locked it out, fuck them. It's part of the car I paid for, I'll do whatever the fuck I want with it. Don't like it? Don't put the premium shit in a base model.

I put up with my ex wifes bullshit for years. I had to deal with her because of the children. After our youngest turned 18 and she tried to give me shit for something that was her fault I told her the truth. I told her she was a cancer to everyone that has ever had her be a part of her life and that she's a terrible person. It's been a few years now and I haven't heard a single thing from her and it's great.

I thought about it and I'll bank elsewhere. There will be credit unions that at least act like they give a shit about you.
