  • The way I see it is if I'm forced to watch ads when watching something, I won't watch it. In that case, no ad revenue for you because I'm not watching your shit. Now, If I watch it with no ads, you get the same result, BUT I might tell someone to watch your shit or buy some merch. That person I told to watch it might watch your ads and that person would not have watched you without me telling them to. You're up 1 revenue.

The corporate greed is out of control. The amount of bullshit ads and tracking is insane. I'm blown away by the people that defend this shit.

  • Don’t get me wrong i love valve and what they have done for gaming as a concept, as a linux i would not Be able to game as i do if it was not for proton.

If I'm reading you right, you're saying you couldn't play those games without steam because of proton? If that's what you're getting at, if you take your copies obtained from the high seas, you should be able to play them through lutris. It works for me.

  • I don't know what flavor you were using or how skilled you are in linux, but I'm not very skilled with it at all and use PopOS and I've been able to play pretty much everything in my library besides destiny 2 and flight sim x.

  • I may be. I don't care though. Every shit move they make will make more people like me and eventually the message will be heard. When their stock tanks like this, there will be changes.

  • You have to watch where you are if you call out a bot, you'll have your comment removed and get banned. They tell you to report the bot and they'll take care of it. Then when you report the obvious troll/bot they ban you for it. Some shady mods out there.

  • Yup, and I'll wait for it be 20 bucks or less on steam, unless it's like the last one which could have been a dlc for the one before it. If that's the case, I'll pass since I didn't make it half way through the last one because it was boring.

  • A pain in the ass was Chrysler's brilliant idea to put the battery in the wheel well. You have to take the tire off, remove the fender liner then pray the hold down bolts don't break (they will) then deal with trying to get the cables off with hardly any room.
