  • Certainly, this aligns closely with the stance I express in a blog post scheduled for publication on Medium today in opposition to BlueSky. Users will likely be disheartened when BlueSky essentially replicates the characteristics of 2019-2020 Twitter. Ads suck. Centralization sucks. Millionaires and billionaires running these platforms for profit suck.

  • In an ever-evolving digital landscape, I am thrilled to immerse myself in the liberating experience of using decentralized platforms like Mastodon, Lemmy, and Pixelfed. Freed from the constraints of centralized social media, I have embarked on a transformative journey. Recognizing the excessive time once consumed by my phone—nearly ten hours a day—I have successfully halved this to around five hours daily, allowing for a healthier balance, with a slight indulgence during weekends.

My commitment to this shift is further evidenced by my conscious decision over the past two years to bid farewell to major platforms such as Twitter and Tumblr. More recently, I have cut ties with Instagram, Facebook, BlueSky, Reddit, and even Snapchat.

In an effort to further champion these alternative platforms and their communities, I am proud to contribute by donating to Mastodon. This initiative not only represents a personal commitment but also an investment in the growth and resilience of decentralized social networks, encouraging more people to explore the boundless opportunities they offer.

  • Write this for me professionally and factually correct: The Green Party’s votes did not have enough voters to secure a win for Harris in this election cycle if those votes went to Harris instead of Stein. This was Hillary 2.0, but at least Harris had some policy.

As an independent voter, I cast my vote for Harris, believing she was the most suitable candidate for individuals like myself. However, it's important to acknowledge that the Democratic Party bears responsibility for this outcome.

Harris focused her efforts on appealing to Republicans rather than progressive voters, which was an unexpected approach. The sense of entitlement from the party leadership, and party loyalists, is, frankly, quite astonishing.

What do you expect would happen?

She failed to criticize Biden, and failed to better address the Israel-Gaza conflict.

  • I appreciate the value of honesty and authenticity as key reasons people choose to support a candidate.

However, it is clear that Donald Trump often makes false statements.

Furthermore, Kamala Harris might have benefited from participating in more contemporary media formats, such as podcasts and Twitch streams, to enhance her outreach. Additionally, focusing less on appealing to Republican voters might have been advantageous, as this strategy CLEARLY contributed to her electoral loss.

  • You didn’t hear about the Libertarians because they basically did get taken over by MAGA. They’re know as the Misus Caucus and they’re brutal, doing damage control on the Libertarian Party as a whole. They shut the primary elected candidate out and gave him little to no resources or even publicity.

Libertarians do drain off support. Libertarians are likely one of the reasons Trump lost so many swing states, because they pretty much had a great candidate and huge turnout. Nearly two million votes compared to Green Party’s Howie Hawkins, who I met, and voted for in 2020. Howie received 404,000 votes.

I voted Harris this year, and volunteered for the WFP.

Jill Stein is deceitful pos and she’s the reason I left the Green Party.
