That fork is useful as art, as commentary, as a quality control device in the fork factory.... everyone has many uses even if they aren't the use society wants you to have.
Or perhaps many of us know a bunch of boomers who were working class their whole life and yet still spent their whole life trying to kick the ladder down behind them.
I'm not saying every boomer deserves to suffer for their consequences, but the boomers who spent their whole life proudly trying to make sure nobody else could have the success they did certainly deserve whatever they have coming to them.
You're pointing out the crimes of the victims rather than the oppressors. That's defense of the oppressors no matter how many mental backflips you do to pretend it's not
How do you define "working"? Otherwise I don't know how you're measuring it. Would you say that a system that allows for literally one of the most unpopular genocides in history is "working"? Or a system that is working overtime to increase income and wealth disparity rather than reduce it? Is that working? I certainly wouldn't but I'm guessing you think that's working swell
The main problem though is that the US government was built intentionally and from the ground up around representing wealthy landowners. The entire system was never meant to represent the common person and it never will.
There's nothing more anti fascist than directly funding and supporting one of the largest genocides of all time. The Palestinian people are loving all the democracy that is killing their children and starving them to death.
Typical US attitude. They only care about climate change in as far as they can profit off of it. If someone else, like China, is gonna profit off of it well we just have to stop caring about it!
