It becomes funnier and funnier to me as the US continually goes SANCTIONS! while completely forgetting that there are many other countries the sanctioned countries can trade with. It disrupts things for a bit, they find new trade partners, and the world moves on. The only way the US could sanction Russia would be by forming a blockade but even then good luck, you'd have to blockade China too.
I think it's less about the gas getting into your drink and more that if the gas is pushing the water away then the water has less of a chance to strip away the oils that you do want in your drink. I'm definitely not expert I just love coffee haha
Scientifically for pour over you want to make the ground beans wet, let them sit wet for 30 seconds or a minute, and then pour the rest of your water over. This initial wet step is to make sure the coffee grounds have time to start off gassing. You want their good flavors in your coffee not that initial gas. So you get them wet, wait for them to offgas, then do the rest of the water. It's cool if you actually watch too just a little bit of water turns the top of your beans all shiny and bubbly...you can literally see them offgassing. I find it fascinating
Can you imagine these well equipped and well trained Alpha Males using that equipment and training to absolutely murder a bunch of humans that were pressed into service against their will? Just absolutely slaughter them. They won't stand a chance. The soil is going to run red with the blood of human beings.
Oh yeah I can and I have never been so
.
Why yes how did you know I am an American Democratic party donor?
Actually the Chinese government ending the lockdown after all of these large demonstrations were purely coincidence. See in my democracy I protest and my government does literally nothing to address why I protested. That's how you know democracy is working, when the government hears my concerns and completely ignores them. Unlike that authoritarian sissypee where the people protested and the government listened to them and changed course based on their demands. Listening to your people and making policy based on their concerns is authoritarian. Ignoring your people and making policy based on corporate donors is democracy.
The thing I love most about democracy is that I get zero choice or control over who represents me in government at all and I let them make decisions for me that hurt me. In fact I celebrate it when they make decisions that hurt me
It's not possible for anyone to offset CO2 because that's just not how CO2 works. If its going into the air it doesn't matter how much money moves around in the background, it's still going into the air. Carbon offsets were never going to accomplish anything because physics don't work that way
I mean he still kinda is. He walked in, took the mugshot, paid his cash bail, and walked out. He didn't spend any meaningful time in jail. Only poor people who can't afford their bail spend time in jail.
What does being political mean to you?
