  • Could you maybe go over the process for how you got Italian citizenship? Trying to go through the process now with my fiancée and it's.... a lot (neither of us speaks Italian either).

Specifically, how did you go about requesting documents from Italy? How did you know which civil registry to request from? What if I can't find the civil registry for the state her descendant is from?

  • This also ignores that since 2008 there has been a large exodus. Americans are leaving whenever they get the chance.

  • The drag story hour thing (and pretty much all other culture wars) are designed to keep people outraged at the people trying to fix the country so that the few at the top can continue to other the one's trying to fix the problems. Cause enough outrage to your political rivals trying to end your honey pot. Keeps the ones who fall for it from seeing past the curtain and the ones you target from being trusted/gaining momentum.

It's funny.... I could've sworn I remember a guy from Austria doing something really similar sometime around 1937.....

  • Yes you do. S20 Ultra, No Premium, I can PiP.

  • This is because capitalism requires infinite growth.... which is literally fucking impossible so everything either grows infinitely or dies..... or option three: gets so fucking big it abuses governance to prevent itself from dying while murdering it's competition.

  • Also unfortunately: their video player fucking sucks.

  • The top end Tesla loses blow for blow in all bit range (nominally) and charger availability (which is changing) to Porsche..... for $4,000 more.

Oh and the Porsche's frame was formally an ICE so it's a tried and tested frame that's received multiple iterations to hone the design.

Tesla's would be nice if they were priced $15k cheaper..... and they'd still be piles of shit that spy on you.

  • Get kids in front of drunk men to normalise hitting on kids.

  • He's been proven guilty..... court of public opinion cares not for semantic philosophical bs. We are not a court of law, unbiased we have no need be.

  • No child abandonment is illegal. Surrendering your child is legal if done a certain amount of time after birth. Thanks for admitting you know nothing about these laws though.

  • California here, at 14 I didn't quite yet grasp the "you can say no to people" thing yet. Definitely not the age you should be dealing with drunk men.

Sure, not all men.... but enough men that assuming all men is the safer bet.

  • Somebody needs to go study up on their history. Allowing children to work has historically only ever been done to exploit cheap labour and abuse children

  • I was abandoned by my parents, didn't do me any harm. Guess child abandonment should be legal according to your logic.

  • Work in a capitalist system is predicated on exploiting labour for the purpose of profit enough. You cannot have a capitalist system and have work not be exploitative.

If it wasn't, they'd make no profit.

  • You were allowed to say it. I'm allowed to remove it. Welcome to the world. Don't like it? Leave.

But also: nobody in the world actually likes the idea of absolutist free speech. The founding fathers certainly didn't believe in such an idea.

  • "The idea of being transgender" it's not an idea anymore than you think about being cisgender. It's a false dichotomy created by cisgender people who fail to understand the issue or fall victim to the "gay agenda" rhetoric of right wing media.

A better way to phrase it is no trans person thinks of themselves as trans. A trans woman thinks of herself as a woman. A trans man thinks of himself as a man. So there's no "idea" of "being transgender" unless you're a cis person who thinks they know what they're talking about.

It's like the phrase "differently abled" only able bodied people think like that.

  • If they can barely afford the insurance and hit you their insurance isn't paying.

I've been hit by red light runners thrice and while biking in a parking lot (ironically got more injured here) and only two times the drivers didn't have insurance..... not a single one paid out.

Insurance is a scam and defending it is akin to defending a Ponzi scheme imo.

  • They can say what they want without restraint or restriction. They are not free from the consequences of their words.

They can say what they like. We can ban them if we don't like it. That's how free speech works in a consequentialist society (modern Western society is a synthesis of consequentialism and contractualism).
